iOS Web Applications Available

The Flying Colors web application for iPhone, iPod and iPad is now available, with separate versions for iPhone/iPod and iPad. The app streamlines the delivery of all the content on the FC website, keeping you connected to your 17th favorite band while bypassing the obfuscation of Facebook’s Timeline interface.

To save the FC web app to your device:

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page in your mobile web browser.
2. Choose “Switch to…” your device.
3. Click the “Save Page” icon.
4. Choose “Add to Home Screen.”

Note: If you’re on an iPhone (as opposed to an iPad) the application name will come up as “Flying Color” not “Flying Colors”—you’ll need to add the ‘s’, yourself. This is because iOS on an iPhone defaults to an app name length of 12 characters. Seriously. What’s up with that, Apple?
